Our concept of a 'Virtual Church' is to build a space where Christians who are unable, turned off by, or simply unwilling to be part of a physical church can come and feel welcome. We seek to erase the prejudice of some who believe, "if you're not going to church you're not really a Christian." Jesus, said that all who believe in Him where part of His body- no exceptions! Our prayer is that you will find a sense of community and feel part of the our mission without the constriction that you may feel about church. More information of this love and Grace in the openness of Christ's love is provided in our Mission and Vision Statement.
We're just starting, but it is our hope that this space will be a place where an honest discussion of the mission of the Church can be found and evaluated.
We believe that the true mission of the Church is to fulfill the promises of John 13:35 "By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another" andMatthew 22:36 which states, "“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And He said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ ‘This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”"
